  • The nature of iSEC's work requires that our consultants travel frequently to/from client locations and industry events. To help offset the impact iSEC has on the planet, we partner with Carbonfund.org to offset our carbon emissions. The money we donate to Carbonfund.org goes to three projects:
    • Renewable Energy – supports clean energy development, such as wind, solar, geothermal, and biomass.
    • Energy Efficiency – reduces existing energy use, much of which comes from coal, oil, and natural gas.
    • Reforestation – absorbs existing CO2 emissions, which helps to reduce the excess greenhouse gases that humans have added to the atmosphere.
  • The iSEC Matching Program matches donations to an employee’s non-profit of choice
  • iSEC also promotes more pro-active contributions to our community and earth by organizing regular group volunteer activities in the San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle. In 2008, we have chosen the San Francisco Surfrider chapter and the Washington Trails Association as the main beneficiaries of our volunteer efforts.
